The classes have both been so much fun! I'm excited to continue to get to know the students.
Buses
This week it was a little hectic getting the bus schedules together. We are starting to get the hang of things. It is important if you child is not riding the bus to send a note with them.
Responsibility Folders
Responsibility Folders are a way of providing communication between parents and me. It also teaches the students how to be responsible by bringing it home and back to school with the required things inside for that day.
Curriculum
A few of the parents have asked about the curriculum and are wondering what they can do to help their child at home. Curriculum for Kindergarten is posted on the School District's Website (http://d321.k12.id.us/main/alternative.html). Look under district, then click on Curriculum, then Kindergarten. I will be posting a few of the things we will be working on in class as well.
Parent Help
I still need parent volunteers, please contact me and let me know if you can help with centers. The times are...
AM - 9:45am-10:30am
PM - 1:00pm-1:45pm
Testing
Beginning of the year testing will be on Monday (August 31st) and Tuesday (September 1st). Students will only come at their assigned times.

Thanks for the call this afternoon, letting us know Maci left her things at school. Looks like we need to work on the responsiblity part. :)
I'd love to come help in the class. Can you tell me more about it? Is it every day? How often? Can I tell you when I'm available and work around my schedule? Can I bring my 3 year old? Just keep me posted.
